Damian joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ London, England office in 2015. He is a Senior Manager at the firm.
A forensic accountant since 2000, Damian assists clients with pre-loss matters by helping them to understand their business interruption exposures and maximum probable loss scenario(s). In addition, he is skilled at developing models that can quantify these exposures for insurance placement purposes.
Damian has a wealth of experience with respect to business interruption, reported insurance values, products liability & recall, oil & gas, power generation, extra expenses/increased costs, fidelity claims and stock & contents matters. He also has considerable knowledge in the catastrophe services area, having quantified economic damages resulting from natural disasters such as the New Zealand earthquake, Queensland floods and the Japanese tsunami/earthquake.
Damian’s industry expertise is vast and varied. He has been engaged on assignments involving service, retail, wholesale and manufacturing businesses across a wide range of industries including agriculture, automotive, beverages, commercial rental properties, food manufacturing, hotels and resorts, telecommunications, entertainment and healthcare facilities.
Damian has presented seminars and workshops on a wide range of forensic accounting topics, including pre-loss modelling, business interruption and the management of catastrophe service claims.
He graduated from De Montfort University in the UK with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics.
