Rehana joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 2008. She is a Senior Manager/Vice President at the firm’s Toronto office.
Rehana provides economic damage quantification assessments for matters pertaining to fidelity, fraud, concealment & misrepresentation, business interruption, business disputes, stock & contents, personal injury & wrongful death and extra expenses.
She has investigated criminal fraud matters for municipal police forces and performed royalty reviews for various national franchises.
Rehana’s industry experience includes automotive, retail, hotel, restaurants, food manufacturing, health care and construction.
She has authored articles on various forensic accounting topics that have been published in The Advocates’ Journal, For the Defence, The Lawyers Weekly, Insurancewest, Corporate Risk Canada and Without Prejudice. She has also served as an Evaluator for the Capstone Program phase of the University of Toronto’s Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting program.
Rehana obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. She also completed her Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting through the University of Toronto’s School of Graduate Studies.
