Paul McGowan, Global CEO of MDD, said: “Our clients value regional expertise and market knowledge on a global level. Jessica, Yvonne, and Bhurima are all able to bridge the local cultural nuances as bilingual professionals in local languages to support the needs of our global clients. We wish them all the best in their new roles.”

Jessica currently serves as our Power Generation Sector Lead, with significant experience across all areas of power generation. She is also focused on growing our presence in Mexico as well as other Latin American countries, is a member of our cyber team, and has extensive experience working on multi-million dollar damage assessments across multiple industries.

Based in Miami, U.S., and fluent in Spanish, she primarily works with clients in the Latin American market, handling large cases across the mining, power generation, port operations, and other large industrial matters.

Yvonne leads the Montreal, Canada office operations and specialises in commercial litigation, business valuation, intellectual property infringement, warranty and indemnity, and matters relating to property and liability insurance.

Yvonne is recognised as an expert by the Superior Court of Quebec. She is also one of our cyber insurance team members and has worked across a multitude of industries, including retail, wholesale, pharmaceuticals, medical, and dental. She is based in Montreal and speaks French and Bulgarian in addition to English.

Bhurima’s expertise across all major industries in business interruption, construction litigation, commercial disputes, employment litigation, fraud and investigations, and stock and content losses, has led to her becoming a well-known and respected expert in the Thai insurance market.

Bhurima currently leads our client education sessions, including the MDD Academy in Thailand, and has experience providing economic damage assessments for natural disasters, including the 2011 Thailand floods. She studied in California and also speaks Thai fluently.

Please join us in congratulating Jessica, Yvonne, and Bhurima on their new roles!
