MDD was retained by an independent adjusting firm and insurers to review loss of revenue from a cancelled event.
The 3 day event was cancelled after the venue location was in the premise of a wildfire and an evacuation notice was issued.
Our role included reviewing the revenue refunds, expense savings and extra expense as a result of the cancelled event. In addition, the same insured had 3 other events scheduled in later months, 1 of which had to be re-located. MDD was to calculate the re-location costs as well as review any decrease in registrations.
