Amber joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 2024. She is a Manager at the firm’s San Francisco office.

Amber began her career working for one of the Big 5 audit firms. She has since worked in various forensic accounting roles for an international accounting firm and as an internal forensic accountant for an independent adjusting firm. Amber also owned and operated a forensic accounting consulting business for over 12 years. She has worked for insurance carriers, legal counsel, insureds directly, and public adjusters alike.

Amber specializes in the quantification of economic damages related to advance loss of profits / delay in start-up, builders’ risk & soft costs, business interruption, divorce & marital disputes, employee dishonesty, fraud and investigations, and liability losses. She also has significant experience in catastrophe services, having worked on assignments resulting from COVID-19, Malibu Fires, Chico Fires, and hurricanes dating back to 2004.

Amber provides litigation support to clients and has appeared at numerous arbitrations and mediations as an expert witness.

She has worked across a wide range of industries, including financial services, health care, real estate, wholesale, food services, construction, maritime and agriculture.

Amber has presented seminars and workshops related to BI Co-Insurance, Interpreting BI Coverage, and Solutions to complex Loss of Income.

She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Business Economics with Emphasis in Accounting.
