Dixon joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Atlanta location in 1977 as an Intern/ Staff Accountant. In 1985, he moved to open the firm’s West Coast office in Los Angeles. He currently manages MDD’s West Coast operations.
Throughout his 40-year career, Dixon has provided economic damage quantification assessments on thousands of assignments. Most recently he has used his expertise to focus on matters related to cyber crime. He also works extensively on assignments involving business interruption, business disputes, personal injury, wrongful death & wrongful termination, extra expenses, fidelity claims, lost profits, builders’ risk & soft costs, stock & contents and physical damages.
He has worked across a wide spectrum of industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, chemical production, food processing, oil and gas, mining, agricultural and technology. He also has a wealth of experience in a large number of service sectors and retail.
Dixon has worked on more than 100 litigation matters involving lost profits, personal injury, fraud and business disputes. He is recognized as an expert witness in numerous U.S. courts and has assisted in many arbitrations and mediations.
Dixon frequently lectures on forensic accounting issues and he has authored articles that have appeared in publications such as the National Law Journal.
Dixon graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
