Stephen is a Senior Manager/Vice President at MDD Forensic Accountants’ Toronto office.
He has over eight years of experience performing economic damage quantification and forensic investigations in insurance and litigation matters. His practice concentrates primarily on business interruption, lost profits, personal injury & wrongful death, product liability and recalls, expropriation, breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, business valuations, professional negligence, and patent infringement matters. In addition, he is a skilled investigator on employee fraud and fidelity claims.
Stephen has worked on assignments across North America. He has experience that spans a wide range of industries including automotive manufacturing and assembly, retail and wholesale, food processing and packaging, power generation, renewable energy, hotel and hospitality, restaurants, legal and health professionals, construction, commercial real estate, education institutions, nursing and long-term care facilities, advertising, and media and entertainment.
He has appeared on numerous occasions in mediations and appraisals on behalf of MDD clients.
Stephen is proficient in Korean. He has co-authored articles that appeared in The Lawyers Weekly and the Ontario Expropriation Association Newsletter and has presented numerous seminars to insurance companies, adjusters and lawyers on the subjects of business interruption, personal injury and forensic accounting.
Stephen received his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics and Masters of Accounting degrees from the University of Waterloo.
