Susan joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 2002. She is a Partner in the firm’s Houston office.
Before moving into forensic accounting over twenty years ago, Susan gained valuable experience working in public accounting where she was involved in the attestation of financial statements and the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations.
Susan has conducted numerous forensic accounting investigations and has worked on assessments ranging from $5,000 to those in excess of $400 million. She specializes in quantifying economic damages in matters related to lost profits, business interruption, business valuations, marital disputes and fraud, concealment & misrepresentation. She has also been involved in the tracing of funds as well as the assessment of financial condition.
Her experience is wide and varied spanning across agriculture, automotive, broadcasting, healthcare, hotels, manufacturing, petrochemical, power generation, rental properties, restaurants, retail and service industries.
Susan has provided litigation support in business disputes, matrimonial matters, business valuations and business interruptions. In addition, she has served as an expert witness, quantifying damages concerning lost profits and the misappropriation of assets.
Susan has presented seminars on various topics to professional organizations and corporate clients.
She is a graduate of Union University in Jackson, Tennessee where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
