Travis joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Atlanta office in 1995. He is a Partner at the firm and a licensed CPA in Georgia.
Travis’ practice focuses on the quantification of economic damages in the areas of, business disputes, business interruption, construction defects and claims, liability losses, loss of use, lost profits, physical damages, subrogation, and stock and contents. Additionally, he has been active in catastrophe services, working on claims resulting from the many natural disasters that have occurred in the south-east U.S. and beyond over the last twenty years.
He has provided deposition testimony on numerous cases and served as a referee in arbitration. He has also provided litigation consulting support services including preparing document requests and interrogatories for discovery, analyzing and reviewing opposing damage expert reports, and preparing inquiries for opposing experts.
Travis has been engaged on assignments across a multitude of industries including pulp and paper, agriculture and food processing, construction, hotels, casinos, rental housing, retail and wholesale, and professional services.
In 2001, he served a 4-month secondment with Faraday Syndicate 435 at Lloyd’s of London. This helped establish a formal secondment program between MDD and the world’s oldest insurer. In addition, he was named to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of Up & Comers: 40 Under 40: Atlanta’s Most Promising Young Stars.
He graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
