Bill has over 40 years of forensic accounting experience, all with Matson, Driscoll & Damico or its predecessor.
His practice concentrates on damage measurement and accounting investigations performed on behalf of attorneys and insurance carriers.
Bill’s expertise includes large and complex assignments on a global basis involving lost profits, business interruption, business disputes, breach of contract, physical damages to assets, construction defects & claims, extra expenses/increased costs, shareholder disputes, personal injury & wrongful death, and mining and refining.
His experience spans a wide range of industries, including agribusiness, automotive, food processing and packaging, healthcare, hotels and restaurants, mining, oil and petrochemical, retail and wholesale, steel, basic metals and utilities.
Bill has been qualified as – and testified as – an expert witness in both Federal and state courts in the U.S. regarding lost profits, business interruption, fraud, subrogation and various types of business disputes. His experience in alternative dispute resolution includes participation in insurance appraisals, arbitrations and mediations.
Bill has presented numerous seminars to attorneys and insurance industry professionals on issues related to the measurement of damages and other forensic accounting topics.
