Job Description

MDD, a premier global forensic accounting firm, is looking for a Computer Forensics Specialist to fuel our expansion and enhance our client network. The Computer Forensics Specialist will play a key role in driving growth within our Cyber practice to our diverse array of clients. The ideal candidate will specialize in the management of computer forensics including cybersecurity, digital forensics and data visualization and be responsible for the forensic collection and investigation of electronic data from computers, mobile devices, cloud software, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and conduct cyber claims and digital forensic investigations.
  • Ascertain the relationship between cyber incidences and required remediation, analyze and report on costs presented in cyber loss incidences.
  • Utilize data analytics and e-discovery expertise in email and server systems.
  • Evaluate cybersecurity systems and controls and deploy the best practices applicable to the handling and analysis of electronic evidence.
  • Provide expert testimony as required.
  • Promote the “One Team” approach both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, criminal justice, or related areas.
  • 3+ years of experience in computer forensics or related field.
  • CFCE or CCE designations preferred.
  • Firm understanding of client needs and how to address them effectively.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of the insurance market preferred.
  • Must possess excellent collaboration and project management skills to prioritize when working on multiple files.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, a plus.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region as needed.
