Katherine first worked with MDD Forensic Accountants as a Co-op student. In 2012, she joined the firm as a Staff Accountant. She is now a Manager at MDD’s Toronto office.
Katherine specializes in the quantification of economic damages for matters related to business interruption, extra expenses, physical damages, stock & contents, personal injury & wrongful death and accident benefits. Additionally she performs assessments for contingency and rental losses as well as assists in preparing business valuation reports in the context of shareholder and matrimonial disputes.
Katherine’s experience spans a wide range of industries including manufacturing, hotel and hospitality, restaurants, power generation, professional services, rental properties, nursing homes, daycare facilities and medical offices.
She has presented numerous seminars and workshops to insurance and legal professionals on topics such as fraud, business interruption, the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS), Income Replacement Benefits (IRBs) and principal dependency.
Katherine received her Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
